Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director – Cloud & Infrastructure to lead and grow our IT Infrastructure Practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure and AWS cloud platforms, third-party vendor management, cybersecurity support, pre-sales consulting, end-user support, and managing geographically distributed teams and command center operations. This leadership role requires both operational excellence and customer-facing pre-sales expertise to drive business growth while ensuring robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy: Lead the Cloud & Infrastructure team, develop IT infrastructure strategies, and act as a key advisor to senior management.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, deployment, and management of Azure and AWS environments.
- Command Center Operations: Manage a 24×7 Command Center/NOC, defining and enforcing SLAs and incident management.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Build relationships with third-party vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and driving cost optimization.
- Cybersecurity: Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Practice to ensure infrastructure security aligns with policies.
- Pre-Sales & Solutioning: Provide technical pre-sales support, develop solution proposals, and respond to RFPs.
- End User Support: Oversee end-user computing strategy and operations.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a multi-location team of infrastructure engineers, cloud architects, and support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 12–15 years of progressive experience in IT Infrastructure, with at least 3–5 years in a senior management or leadership role.
- Skills: Proven experience in Azure and AWS cloud platforms, managing multi-location teams and Command Center/NOC operations, and pre-sales for IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity services.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure/AWS Architect, ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
