Role Description

 

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Director / Manager with experience in the Healthcare (Provider side of business) Vertical. The successful candidate will be responsible for hunting new logos, developing strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will be expected to identify and engage with key decision-makers at healthcare provider firms to present innovative digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage.


 

What you’ll do?

 

  • Hunt for new business opportunities within the Healthcare Vertical, focusing on digital transformation services.
  • Drive new logo acquisition and expand the company’s footprint in the healthcare vertical.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to create and nurture a strong sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers within target Healthcare Companies (Providers).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor digital transformation solutions that meet client needs.
  • Lead client presentations, solution demonstrations, and negotiations to secure new business.
  • Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape in the healthcare sector.
  • Stay updated on digital technologies like AI, automation, cloud, and big data that impact the healthcare industry.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales progress, forecasts, and market feedback.

 

Requirements

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Experience: 7-12 years of experience in business development, with a focus on new business (hunting) and selling digital transformation services in the Healthcare Vertical.
  • Track Record: Proven success in acquiring new clients and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Healthcare industry and its digital transformation challenges.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
  • Mindset: Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
