The Role
We’re working with an IT Services client to find a strategic and results-driven Director/Sr. Director of Sales to spearhead business development and drive growth across key industry verticals. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned sales leader with deep experience in IT services and platform-led solutions who thrives in complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong domain expertise in industries such as insurance, financial services, consumer products, manufacturing, retail & logistics, and e-commerce.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Development Managers and Sales Executives to exceed revenue goals.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with asset-led services and digital transformation offerings.
- Build and nurture executive-level relationships with enterprise clients.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and delivery teams to create targeted go-to-market strategies.
- Oversee sales pipeline development, forecasting, and performance tracking for sustained growth.
- Ensure seamless handoff to delivery teams to maximize client satisfaction and long-term value.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, especially in AI, automation, and platform engineering, to bring consultative insights to clients.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 15+ years in IT services or digital transformation consulting, with at least 5 years in sales leadership roles.
- Domain Expertise: Deep expertise in one or more verticals: Insurance, Financial Services, Consumer Products, or e-Commerce.
- Track Record: Proven success selling platform-based services and enterprise solutions, with a history of consistently achieving revenue targets.
- Skills: Strong leadership, coaching, communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of enterprise tech trends (AI, cloud-native, data engineering).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial and a proactive, results-oriented approach.
