The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Director / Manager with experience in the Insurance (Property & Casualty) sector. This role specializes in digital transformation services and focuses on hunting new logos, developing strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging with key decision-makers at insurance firms to present innovative digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage.
What you’ll do?
- Hunt for new business opportunities within the Insurance P&C sector, focusing on digital transformation services.
- Drive new logo acquisition and expand the company’s footprint in the insurance vertical.
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to create and nurture a strong sales pipeline.
- Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor digital transformation solutions that meet client needs.
- Lead client presentations, solution demonstrations, and negotiations to secure new business.
- Monitor market trends in the P&C insurance sector to identify new growth opportunities.
- Stay updated on digital technologies like AI, automation, and cloud that impact the insurance industry.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales progress and forecasts.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Experience: 7-12 years in business development, with a focus on new business hunting and selling digital transformation services in the Insurance P&C sector.
- Track Record: Proven success in acquiring new clients and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the P&C insurance industry and its digital transformation challenges.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Sales Cycle: Ability to manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Mindset: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a strong sense of urgency.
